Ryds Bilglas Expands Operations with the Acquisition of Two More Collision Repair Shops
Ryds Bilglas, Sweden’s leading company in vehicle glass repair and replacement, has acquired BSC Bilskadecentralen through its subsidiary, Autoklinik i Malmö AB.
Autoklinik i Malmö AB was Ryds Bilglas’ first acquisition in the area of bodywork and painting. Since then, Ryds Bilglas has acquired six additional collision repair shops in Stockholm, Visby, Malmö, Örebro, and Eskilstuna. The company is now further expanding in the vehicle damage sector with Autoklinik’s acquisition of BSC Bilskadecentralen.
Bilskadecentralen has two workshops, one in Staffanstorp and one in Vellinge, outside Malmö. The company specializes in bodywork and painting repairs, as well as PDR (Paintless Dent Removal), which uses special tools to repair dents and minor damages cost-effectively. This acquisition further strengthens Cary Group’s, the auto glass group that includes Ryds Bilglas, unique position and expertise in SMART repair (Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques).
Bilskadecentralen’s workshops service all car brands. The company has been owned and operated by Alexander Weiland and Edward Karlsson since 2016 and currently has nineteen employees. Alexander and Edward will continue to manage and develop the business.
